| Acoustic Wave provides Sound and P.A. system services but does not rent out pieces of equipment. In other words, one of our technicians performs transport, set-up, and take-down of our equipment and is present while the equipment is being used. For 2007, we generally charge $100 per hour in the Davis County, UT area for these services unless they are part of a larger package deal. Hourly rates could vary depending on the need for special or additional equipment, extensive drive time, or other special requests. All prices quoted include set-up and take-down, so you only pay while the equipment is actually in use. Examples: Example #1: The company picnic & prize giveaway runs 2 hours. You need a couple of microphones on stands with good sounding loudspeakers and some background music. You'd be looking at $200. Example #2: What if the same company picnic were in Logan or Provo? We'd add another $100 for the drive and gas. (Salt Lake or Ogden, add $50) Example #3: What if we wanted you to provide sound reinforcement for the "battle of the bands" at the county fair? It would depend on your needs but there would definitely be an additional charge for the additional equipment and labor required. On the other hand, there may be a discount rate for a job that lasts so long. Call us so we can assess your needs and negotiate a price that is fair for both you and us. |
