| Acoustic Wave provides lighting services but does not rent out pieces of equipment. In other words, one of our technicians performs transport, set-up, and take-down of our equipment and is present while the equipment is being used. For 2007, we generally charge $100 per hour in the Davis County, UT area for these services unless they are part of a larger package deal. Hourly rates will vary depending on the need for special or additional equipment, extensive drive time, or other special requests. All prices quoted include set-up and take-down, so you only pay while the equipment is actually in use. Examples: Example #1: What if we are hiring Acoustic Wave to provide a D.J.? Do we have to pay extra for D.J. party lights? D.J. package prices listed on this web site include our basic D.J. lighting package. Additional effects such as fog machines and computer controlled moving beams of light would cost extra. Example #2 : What if we just need some mood lighting, fog machines, or strobe lights for a special event we are putting on? It depends on whether the equipment needs to be used during rehearsals, who would be running it, who would be responsible for it, etc. For these types of situations, please call us so we can assess your needs and negotiate a price that is fair to both you and us. |
